It was a cool, late summer morning when I headed over to the Bog River to do some photography for the book. This pair of falls on the Bog River is right by the road where the river flows into the south end of Tupper Lake. It's a special spot, often visited by folks for picnics, swimming, and relaxing, as well as a great place for some real 'Kodak' moments.

The morning was quite cool, and there was lots of fog when I first arrived. I took several photos from different locations and then went back to a rock out in the river to photograph the full panorama. The sun burned off most of the fog before I took this photograph. The foggy images were great - and moody - but I thought this set off the whole view better.
